The TSA has recently modified its policies and procedures allowing
passengers to bring toiletries along with their carry-on baggage. As per
the new regulations; passengers are permitted to carry on 3.4 ounce
(100ml) in a single, quart-size, zip-top, clear plastic bag. Passengers
cannot use any other bag such as gallon size or a fold-over sandwich
bag. For security purposes, each passenger carrying a toiletry kit
should have it scanned at the security check conveyor belt separately.
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has mentioned a list of
items that can be carried in a carry-on and checked baggage.
